Hot lights
Long time reader first time posting.
I have noticed my interior lights including the DIC controls, drive indicator light, HVAC controls, door switches and traction control buttons get very hot after the car has been running for a few minutes.
I haven’t noticed this in any of my other cars made around the same time.
Doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold outside and It has been this way since I purchased the car.
Is this common?
Does switching to LEDs solve this or should I be on the hunt for something causing high resistance?
Fire extinguisher is always in the car but there’s only so much you can do I don’t want to lose the car in an electrical fire.
Just trying to keep the smoke in the wires!
