Need Help!!
New to the forum. I need help with what to get for my corvette so I can get it on the road. I've had it for almost two years and had yet gotten to drive it!!
Here is what is under the hood and more.
Sorry the image of the list is so big.
What I'm needing are the right valve guides. Can anyone tell me what I need to get?
Thanks

Good luck with your project!
I'm so not a mechanic! I have no idea how to pull the heads. I just need to get the valve guides for my husband (trying to surprise him) so he can fix this damn car! Its been sitting for too long and I want us to be able to enjoy it instead of keep saying "some day when we get it running"! Cant surprise him if I have to ask him to pull the heads... Thats why I came here to the forum!!
2008 was the first year the LS3 was standard in the base Corvette according to the Corvette Black Book. Rock Auto shows the following valve guides for an LS3 in 2008:

I would be hesitant to simply order a set of valve guides. Odds are if the engine is not running because it one or more of the guides is worn/damaged there are other issues with the head or engine that will also need to be addressed.
If you go to your local engine builder or parts store and ask for a set of valve guides for GM LS3 heads they may have other parts that will work.
Good luck!
