the truck adapter is sitting offset on a puck?? Stabilize the car first and don't die! Cars can and have fallen off the QJ. I've had my driveline out several times on the QJ and use only the rubber blocks. Those truck adapters look too sketchy to me.
I use manual tools to loosen the hardware, then power tools to spin them off. Same in reverse to replace.
