Default C5 Window Install and Adjustment

Does anyone know what turning the bolt at the bottom front of the window regulator with a inverted torx head does?

It adjusts the inboard/outboard position of the bottom of the window which in turn moves the top.

Yes, and the proper position is when the window is all the up and the door is closed you can pull a dollar bill snugly between the glass and the weather seal. Thats how i measured it. Keep the weather seals soft and pliable by treating them with a conditioner. All this keeps the wind noise and rain out!

Just to make it clear. Turning the bolt is to adjust the big flat washer against the bottom of the door. You loosen the nut and move it in the slot to adjust the top of the window tip in then tighten the nut.
