Anyone done the knight drive tv sleepy eye headlight conversion? Is there a way to use the halo's without have the taillights on, for "show mode"? To have on when parked at car meets? Thanks in advance. I'm not used to forum style posts, so I apologize if this has been asked before.
The halo lights tap into the brown power wire for DRL lights. You can tap for power to any place you want. The lights do not stay up when the switch is off I’m not sure by the way you’re asking the question if you realize that. The lights themselves are amazing compared to what came stock
I have the squares, had had them for a year or so. My experience the way they are wired if you want just the halos, it will be in parking light mode. First you will put your headlights on, then back it off to keep them up in halo mode. Yes, your tail lights and side markers will stay on unless you can find a different way to wire them. I have halos in the rear with led side markers as well so I don't mind it.
