Working through the TLC on my new to me C5. Found these unplugged lines that doesn't appear to be critical, as the car runs and drives fine. Purple on looks like perhaps a vacuum line to the fuel system? I can't find the connection. The red lines seem to be the PCV system from what I can tell. Identifying part numbers and replacement procedure would be helpful.
Fuel system vacuum line? PCV valve? Bottom arrow line goes back to intake, the top two are connected together at a severed connection.
The purple encircled hose goes to a small port on the air intake before the throttle body, it isn't under vacuum but is supposed to vent gas fumes in case the regulator valve develops an internal leak.
I took off my air intake and cannot find any connection for it. I have a K&N air intake and the throttle body doesn't look to be original. Do I need a converter kit of some kind?
Photos would be very helpful. I keep seeing some folks say it just vents to atmosphere, but the vast majority that it's an important line that connects before the throttle body, but I cannotfind any photos of where exactly to plug it in!
Here's a picture of the fuel regulator vent hose. This hose is silicone that replaced the worn out factory hose, a barb fitting connects to the black aftermarket air intake tube.
The vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator is important. It modifies the fuel pressure under low vacuum conditions to change the amount of fuel sprayed during each injector cycle.
