Need some help. I bought a C5 that had the headlights converted over to frog eye and I'm in the process of converting back. I have everything but the metal clips that go under the headlight lids to keep the plastic surround tight. These clips are discontinued so all the places online showing it do not actually have it. I've tried about 5 places so far. I need to find someone that may have them lying around. They used to be sold in quantities of 10 so I am assuming someone may have some extras. Maybe someone found something else that worked?
I may have got lucky. Even though every site online was dry and the part was discontinued, I decided to call my local dealer and see if there was a substitute. They found some sitting in a dealer an hour away. The dealer an hour away had 9 left from a bag of 10 in a dusty old box from god knows how long ago. He's sending me 2 for free in exchange for a good review.
Glad you found some. I needed one a few years ago so I bought the bag of 10. I’m pretty sure the shipping charge was more than the cost of the 10 clips.
