C5 coolant tank check valve at bottom?

C5 coolant tank check valve at bottom? Sensor
Replaced some hoses on 2003 C5z late last night. Didn’t fill up coolant tank yet.
just confirming the coolant tank has a Check valve at bottom of the tank that does Not attach to anything.
I see overflow hose at top and the main drain that attaches to a tee on bottom.
on the reservoir tank but I was confused on opening at bottom that did not attach to anything
it might be sensor - if so does it attach to any wires or harness?????

The earlier years can with a level sensor, the later years did not. Just ignore it if you have a later year.....This is the only thing I can think of that you are referring to..

If you have an older one and the sensor goes and you want to be rid of the DIC message, just jump the lines in the harness. You can be cheap a jam a paperclip in the connector if you like.
