MAF ends compared to Granatelli MAF: Differences

MAF ends compared to Granatelli MAF: Differences
Hello All,
Can someone please explain to me the differnce in the two. Which one would yield a higher gain and why. How do they work. I am pending to buy a Granatelli MAF, but if the ends are better, then I perfer to save money.
I do understand that the Granatelli is a complete unit with the sensor and the ends are just the housing ends. But the price differnce is SUBSTANTIAL.
