Hello, Jim. Great Article on Swaybar install. Very well written. My question to you is: I have the Z51 suspension, will I notice better cornering if I switch to the Z06 sway bar or even Hotchkiss? You mentioned that the Z06 bar is 23.4mm, do you know what size the z51 bars are? Thanks for your reply.

I don't know the sizes on the Z51 bars, but if anybody has that info around I'd be more than willing to add the info to the page. I'm also wanting a photo of the 2001 style steel endlinks.

Most excellent, Jon! Thanks for posting this up! Anytime us DIY guys have to change stuff around, it seems like the swaybars have to come off for one reason or another, so this is a great reference site for that info, rather than always going back to the books! :cheers: :flag

02-03 end-links are aluminum, not steel--just put them on my '01 (from Ken F.). :yesnod:
btw, the Corvette Black Books states that Z-51 bars were enlarged for 2000 but I don't see the sizes listed. Surely, someone has them close at hand and will chime in.

jmX, excellent. Thank you very much as this is gonna be my next mod. Great pictures and absolutelly question free instructions. I copied it out and will use it when doing this mod.
Beside that, anybody knows now the difference in diameter of the 97to99 Z51 bars to the Z06 bars ? Would like to know that too . . .
