Default ECP Radiator - Installation Notes?

Just ordered an ECP aluminum radiator for my ‘04 coupe.

Should be a straightforward swap, except a video I watched the guy had a bit of trouble attaching the lower hose. According to him, the lower fitting on the ECP is lower than the stock radiator, causing the hose to rub the front edge of the cradle.

Now, he was missing a support bushing, but once he rigged one in it was better but still not perfect.

Anyone have experience with this not lining up?

I had no issues, went from Fluidyne to ECP. Put their anode rod in the drain location.

Mine fit perfectly with the support bushing in place. Had to trim the fan shroud somewhere on the driver's side (its been a few years). Yes with the thicker core, clearances get reduced and things get a bit tight.
