03 Trouble codes
Early I posted a thread regarding my VATS system.Upon checking with the on board diagnostics can anyone elaborate on the following.... V 1064 which according to GM's code book states "Normal Software function, History status upon ignition cycling"
Also. B 2723 goes as follows. "Pass? Key detection circuit"...
How do I fix this.... Staying up until it's done.

I posted on your earlier post, if the VATS contacts in the Ignition switch are not making contact with the keys resistor pellet the BCM will not provide a ground to the TDR. The TDR is the relay that sends power to energize the starter. You will have to remove the Ignition switch, I am not sure you can buy the VATS contacts assembly or you have to buy a Ignition switch housing and then transfer the key core from the old housing.
