Hi Jim, just sent you e-mail actually to try to get to the bottom of this - take a look if you get chance.
I want to try to stay legal as 10% of vehicles tested here (CA) have to go to a government test station who definitely DON'T honor the Ben Franklin (if you know what I mean) system. I drew the short straw one year and got the run around big time. Most people don't know about the 10% law, but if they get fingered they are returning their car to standard (or at least CARB approved and sniffer complient) - TRUST ME.

I had the Cartek Stage 2 H/C package on my 98 and easily went thru the IM240 testing here in NJ. Do you know the specs of Calif for the emissions test ? I still have the data sheet from the state inspection and can compare your criteria to what NJ's is if you like.

I have a big cam in my car and it passed. I think if you have some good cats you'll be fine. Call them and compare NJ and CA #'s they must have a bunch through NJ testing. :chevy
