Default its cam time!

well, as some of you may know from prev. posts, we are in the middle of a motor buildup. were doing a 422 iron block for our 99 6-speed vette. the basis of the project is to run in the 10's and drive the thing to the coast if we desire, from home of course in memphis. we are going to utilize ls6 heads with 2.08/1.6 valves fully ported. have lunati 4.125 crank, pro billet 6.125 rods, ARE ls6 oil pump, rollmaster chain, and are looking into obtaining a set of 3.8 gm supercharged injectors as everyone claims they will work great. looking at stainless works 1 7/8? headers and will most likely run that straight back to the new ghl exhaust. 3.90 gears in the rear to come as well. so with all of these, well, most of them decided on, its time for the bump stick. i have liked the performance that some have mentioned with the mti s1 cam of 244/244, 612/612@112. is this in fact a good choice or do any of you have a similar /better recommendation. need some of you ARE guys, Etc thoughts. thanks for time and input. joe

You might want to change the title, it makes it seem like just another cam question which there have been alot of lately and maybe people are wondering why you can't just look through the archives. Your situation is different than what led me to click on the thread.

Just a thougt. "Cam advice for 422ci iron block?"

Good luck, sounds like an animal you are buiding.
