Default Door modules question

Does anyone know what the difference between Driver's Side Door Module 10342159, and Driver's Side Door Module 09389689 is?

I know 10342159 replaced 09389689, just wondering what the difference is? My 2004 Z16 Z06 came with 10342159, and I need a replacement, as it got wet.

p/n's can change for all sorts of trivial reasons. For example, perhaps there were two different suppliers for these door modules. You just never know and the reasons for supercessions are seldom documented externally, unless there was a specific problem with one, or the other p/n. In that situation a bulletin would typically be released, but the majority of supercessions would never be explained to the dealer, much less the public.

If there was something undesirable about one, or the other module, it most likely would have been documented by now.
