Default [Wheels] I need some help please...

....I have an '03 Z06, and I'm looking to buy some new wheels. I want to switch from the stock 17" F, and 18" R to 18" F and 19" R. I don't want wider tires in the rear, so should I stay with the 10.5 width, or go for 11"? Tire sizes will be 265/35/18 up front, and 295/35/19 out back.

What would be the advantage of using an 11" wheel in the rear as opposed to the 10.5"? Also, will these sizes match the circumference of the stock wheel/tire setup? :banghead:

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. :seeya

The main advantage to 11's would be if the tire companies come out with 315/35/18 otherwise you get a slight gain in tire patch but less tire protection for the rim with a 295. Also the wheels may stick out slightly more.

The other advantage to the 11.0 inch rim with 295's is that the sidewall stands up straighter which is better for cornering, but as mentioned above gives you less rim lip protection.

What he said, but he would be most creative to get a 315/35/18 on a 19" rim. :D

Assuming Pilot sports, the 295/35/19 will fit a 10-11.5" rim. Using a wider rim within that range will make the tire slightly shorter and fatter, and have less sidewall bulge. An 11 would work fine, but I don't see any distinct advantage to it.
The tire height of it is listed at 25.9", and your original GY F1 295/35/18 is 26.1"., so the 19" tire is less than 1/4" shorter...not enough to cause any problems or noticible changes.

The front 265/35/18 Pilot Spt is 25.3" tall vs. your stock 25.4", so you shouldn't notice any height difference there.
