BCM or original alarm system.
I have a 1998 corvette convertible. The lights flash off and on. When the battery is charge the car will start but stall after going a mile or more. I have to wait 10 to 20 mins then it’ll start. I was told it’s the BCM. Another told me it’s the alarm system causing the BCM to not work

A alarm system will not allow you to drive a mile and then shut off the car. It's probably not the BCM either maybe the PCM because it provides all the necessary outputs to run the engine. You should pull the codes immediately after it shuts down to have some idea of what's happening.
