Default 1997 slave cylinder replacement

I’m replacing the clutch slave cylinder due to a leak and I’m having some difficulty removing the differential, transmission and torque tub as a unit because of the Electronic brake & traction control module that is mounted behind the rear end. The factory manual or You Tube video (can’t remember which) says to unbolt the unit from the rear end and suspend it to the left side while lowering the differential and sliding the unit out. My car has the Real Time Damping System on it. There are some ¼” hard lines from the rear control arm sensors to the EBTMC which keep me from moving the unit to the left without disconnecting these lines from the EBTMC. Have any of you had any experience with this? Is there a way to drop the Differential, trans & torque as a unit without removing the EBTMC? Thanks for any input you may have.

I think you can unbolt it from the top of the rear axle and let it hang off the lines.

You're correct. I did that. My issue is I have the ride control option on my car (Tour, Sport, Perf). This option has sensors connected to the rear control arms which have brake lines connected to them. These brake lines also connect to the EBTMC unit which keeps me from moving the unit to the side so I can move the axle unit back enough to get the spline out of the bell housing. Long story short I removed both right and left brake lines and was able to move the axle, transmission and torque tube back enough to drop the unit out of the car. I was trying to avoid bleeding the brake system but it was probably time anyway.
