Default ??? daytime running lights

the left side daytime running light is out, changed bulb didn't do any thing, right side works fine no problems. I have good power to left side brown wire but not to lt/blu wire which should be daytime running light. all fuses & relays seem fine.any body else had this problem? any help would be gratefully appreciated..Thanks

Are you adding LED or using stock bulb. I have seen where debris have gotten in the socket causing issues, I would try to re-seat the bulb to rule it out.

Hi am using stock bulbs, replaced old socket with new one. I believe the problem is with no power to the lt/bl wire for the daytime running light. the right side works fine and all fuses and relays are good. I guess I"ll backtrack from socket and hopefully find problem.
Thanks for the reply

The BCM toggles the LHS DRL relay on, which then supplies power to the LHS DRL.
Have a look at the attached diagram.

Double check your wiring. You might have your lt blue wire connected to ground. The DRL wire is hot when key is on. The turn signal wire will alternate power and ground. These two wires are in series on the bulb's bright filament. To get the DRL to turn off when the turn signal is activated, it applies power to the wire and disrupts ground causing the light to go out. The actual ground wire will always be ground. hopefully that makes sense.
