Revolution Electronics C5 Corvette ABS Code Clear 14019 module.
Anyone got one of these or know someone who has ? Alternatively a device that does the same thing ? Thanks in advance
I've reached out to them and they will not sell because of liability. I even asked about purchasing plans or just unassembled parts. No luck with that either. I've not found anyone that was able to get the product either. Please do let me know if you by chance find someone with it.
I'm confused. If they won't sell it, why did they make it in the first place??? Or will they sell only to all out racing car owners? Or?? Also assuming this makes the "upstream" electroncs think the EBCM is alive and well when it isn't? Sorta like the O2 sims? This thread could use a bit of explaining.......
Apparently their lawyers got involved after the fact thus they pumped the breaks. Sounds like it was designed to work like the O2 simulators that you mentioned.
Apparently the ECBM sends a pulse signal to the BCM to tell it it's working properly, this module just does that. The chip is an of the shelf one that needs programming. I'm not good with electronics so I wouldn't know how to build one but I'm sure someone here would be capable.
It's awful to see the carrot that is out of reach. Damn shame GM hosed us out of any feasible alternative.
Liability.....is exactly why willing and able guys out there refuse to build an aftermarket replacement EBCM. Actually GM didn't hose us nearly as much as the lawsuit crazed american people and lawyers have. If something goes wrong, the public in general starts pointing their fingers at everyone and anyone, but themselves. It's NEVER their fault, just ask them. There are honest lawyers out there, but the snakes give them all a bad reputation. Sickening......
