Does anyone have tips on modifying the seats to delete the back tilt - the one where you lift up the lever on the back of the seat behind the headrest? There is so much seat back slop going on, and I don't think I would ever have a need to tilt the seat forward. The side lever adjustment is totally fine for my needs.
I'm thinking there's a way to put a hex nut or something in place of the little dangly doodad that slides up and down in the seat hinge area. I tried to reduce the slop with various ideas and visits to Home Depot, but without any fab tools, it was only a limited improvement. So now I'm fine with it being a fixed back. The seats are from a C6 Z06 FWIW.
