Tick performance clutch master cylinder replacement line?
So I bought a new to me c5 fairly recently and noticed the clutch pedal go soft and a bunch of fluid on my garage floor. At first I thought the Oem clutch master cylinder went out like they often do however after getting the car up off the ground and the wheel and access cover off I noticed the previous owner had swapped in a Tick Performance Clutch Master Cylinder. I like the thing and it’s very robust however whoever did the work they routed the line that goes to the slave cylinder on top of the steering column shaft and just by constantly turning and rotating it punctured a hole in through the rubber boot and steel braided line and unfortunately I can’t find a replacement line from Tick performance anywhere online and I’m not looking to replace the entire unit since the old one works just fine minus the hole now. Can I just purchase a generic on from Summit made by McLeod racing? Only thing I’m not sure is the size. Looks to be a AN-4 fitting maybe with a quick disconnect on the original TP one but not sure may be a different size.
Here’s the one I’m interested in at Summit:

If anyone has any experience doing this repair I would appreciate your insight and if you think it would work, thanks!
Anyways, yes, you can just simply replace the hose/line. I believe the McLeod option should work, -4AN is correct, although I think 18" might be short. On my own MC kit I'm running a 22". If you take the one off your car you can verify length.
Another option if you're okay forgoing the check valve is to use an Earl's fitting for $41.35 and a generic -4AN 22" hose for $13.99. This will save you $27, and is the setup I run on my car. FYI I've not had an issue lacking the check valve in the MC line fitting even when dropping the drivetrain.

yes that exact one is what is in my car now and that same rubber insulated steel braided line now has a hole puncture about halfway down the line. Good idea I’ll give them a call. I was just surprised not to see the part on their website though but maybe they can still sell it.
