Default Door rubber access plugs

I just replaced my window regulator and I removed these rubber/tape access plugs and threw them out. Now I can't seem to find the part to replace them with. In the service manual, it just calls them access plugs, but I can't find anywhere that has a part number for them or sells anything like it. It's got to be just some generic butyl tape or something but does anyone know where or what I can replace these with?

Curious why you had to remove those when you replaced your window regulator. I just replaced mine last week and I was able to access the regulator after removing the rain shield and the door speaker.

I don't remember ever seeing any OEM plugs in those areas as the shop that installed my custom stereo a few years ago plugged those holes with Ensolite to help dampen noise. They also installed a custom water barrier which is then recovered with more Ensolite that I re-applied (not pictured). It definitely worked, but was a PITA to remove to access the window regulator.

I didn't know I didn't need to remove those plugs when I was working on it. I was replacing my entire door, and the donor door already had them peeled back and damaged. The ones on my original door I removed since I didn't notice them on the donor door. I was replacing my window regulator when I noticed I figured that's when others might have removed them also. I searched online for the part and came across that photo to post here. My door is sitting on a table right now.

I was going to use duct tape or something for them, but since they are higher up in the window, GM might have used the thick patch because more water might get in from up there?? instead of the thin rubber rain shied.... which also fell apart when I had to remove it :-( I can't believe that rain shield is $50+ for a new one also. The car is going to be a track car, and I'm in San Diego, so rain is not that big a concern, but I for the life of me, couldn't find what those "plugs" are made of.

In reading other threads, I think GM only used those rubber access plugs during the first few years of the C5 model run and then switched to the foam, ensolite material. I did have a rubber access plug at the bottom of my door that I had to remove in order to reach the one bolt holding the window regulator motor. I reinstalled that plug after installing the new regulator. i would just apply some new ensolite over those upper door plugs and maybe add some additional metallic vapor tape that is used for AC conduit connections. I checked into getting some replacement OEM GM plastic water deflector for the doors but after checking multiple GM part sites, confirmed that they are no longer being produced as I could only find one in stock for the driver side door but not the passenger side door.
