S/S Brake Line Leak - Help!!
I installed my Goodridge SS brake lines on the rear last night and there is fluid leaking (squirting) out of the brass block (when I pump the brakes) which connects to the car permanant brake line and is secured to the car by a bracket. It looks like the male end of that line is not seating correctly or, perhaps the brass female end on the ss line has a bad thread or two. I can't tighten the male end any tighter. Can I us some type of thread sealant on the male threads, or, time to get a new ss brake line?

There is an O ring that goes in between the block and the caliper. Are you sure you installed that O ring?

The leak is between the female and male end where the 2 lines connect. Sorry if my description wasn't clear enough. :withstupid: The black connection at the calipers uses a thin washer. That connection is ok.

You will need a new line... the same thing happened to me too... just a bad line... get a new one and your troubles will be over. :)
