Default Next step. What should I do? Engine???

2001 Z06, 45k miles, A&A V3 ti, single pump fuel system, FBO, cam, supposedly has Patriot stage 2 ported 243s but I have no receipt for those and there are no markings on the heads that I see, RPM stage 3 dif w 3.90s, Monster twin disc.

I would really like to be around 750-800rwhp. I'm thinking I should sell my long block (only 600 miles w the supercharger and doesn't burn oil) and have a new long block installed. I'm thinking about going with the Texas Speed Ruthless Runt with the Brawler LS6 heads and Texas Speeds Stage 3 turbo cam.

I currently have a 6 rib so I assume I will have to go 8 rib if I am going to go with a smaller pulley, bigger injectors and a twin pump fuel system.

There is Ethanol in my area so that's an option.

What do you guys think? What would you do?

Go ethanol first, 8 rib and a pulley, I bet it gets ya there for a bit.

Or would one of these be a better option?

The 5.3 block is a step in the wrong direction with a blower.
If you are going to step it up then step it up to the 408.
You would probably be better served going to e85 and a larger blower like the YSi. vs a short block

I don't think the stock short block is going to handle more boost from a YSi for very long.

Sledgehammer has a nice ring to it. Price is right. If they’re good enough for Cleetus…

True it’s would be at the ragged edge.
A YSI with a 408 would be nice
