I upgraded my pioneer single din (previous owner) to a double din, using the same PAC harness. Everything worked except when I turn the car off, the radio is black but flashes with lines, and the fuse relay is clicking. I turn the car back on and the radio goes back to factory settings (clock isn’t saved either). It continuously does this the entire time the car is off.
I go and unplug the relay and it works fine now, except there is no bass coming out of the speakers. For additional info, the accessory power that the previous owner used is a red wire they ran into the HVAC fuse with a fuse tap, if that means anything.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Any idea where I can get some instructions for the PAC, I never bought it? Do you think it’s the power source that’s causing the problem with the bass?
Having done my own double din, I would suggest ditching the PAC and get an Axxess Interface. It’s plug and play, and no tapping of any hot is required.
Oh nice. I didn’t realize that was the difference between the two options. Why do so many go with the PAC?? Seems like the axxess would be a lot easier if that’s the case.

It's likely that you did not wire it correctly. I am assuming that you had to rewire for the new radio. What relay is clicking? The PAC wiring diagrams can be found online, just do a search.

I think the PAC is cheaper, but not sure. The Axxess also retains your accessory power, HOWEVER, it’s a little strange. It will still power on and can be used with the key off, and will turn off once the door is opened but it will also power on with just putting the key in. It allowed to keep the factory Bose subs and amps in the front doors, as I was not replacing the speakers. I love the set up.

so I found that with the PAC module, you have to connect the blue wire to the blue/white wire (for the bose subs). So I reconnected it that way, and still no bass. This was based off a previous forum discussion on same issue.
It was the mini relay #45 that was clicking at the beginning. Once I unplugged it and plugged back in it stopped doing it. But didn’t fix the no bass issue.
There are small potentiometers on the (silver in the picture) Axxess box to adjust the bass. Try turning them up 1/16th a turn at a time until the bass is right.

Did you ever figure this one out? I'm having a very similar issue. Frustrating to figure out.
