I am guessing you plan on doing all the necessary upgrades with whichever cam you choose....
what kinda gains you looking for? 25 rwhp...50?? more torque? you are gonna need a tune as well....
there are some nice smaller cams that will give you decent gains without a big lope
just remember, big cam comes with its own set of issues, driveability, more wear,

Frankly, your best bet is to contact some of the cam manufacturers and discuss it with them. Cam design is basically voodoo and it’s not wise to generalize. Companies like Cam Motion, Brian Tooley, Texas Speed can help you select the right cam, and they can provide you with recommendations on gearing, head specs, valve springs, stall speeds, effective rpm range, etc.
