a few days ago I was casually driving, I got to a stop light and when I went into neutral my car dropped to very low RPMs but they came back up. About 5 minutes later of cruising, 35-45 MPH, my car shut off. Battery still on, good reading on volts. After trying to start my car a few times, it starts and shuts off almost instantly. Only runs for 2-3 seconds. The only thing I’ve done is checked/cleaned all the grounds. Any info would help, thank you!
EDIT: after messing with it, the only code I have is for O2 sensors since I have headers. I also do not hear my fuel pump prime like I usually do. Could it be as little as the fuze? How often do fuel pumps go bad?

Sounds like it has no fuel pressure, the pcm primes the fuel system for two seconds and then turns the fuel pump on after it receives the signal from the pcm that the car is running. The pcm does this by supplying a ground to the fuel pump relay, you should install a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail and verify 55 or so psi.

i tested the fuel pressure from the rail and im not getting anything. replaced the fuze just because that was cheap and ordered a fuel pump. hopefully that fixes it, will update after install

I'd look at the fuel pump relay and pump wiring BEFORE you fire a pump at it !!...all you need to diagnose is a DVOM and 12 volt test light.

If masochism is your thing....rock on. If not, there are a few things to check before changing a fuel pump that are MUCH easier to access and troubleshoot.
