Other than a new clutch, what else will I need to buy along with it when replacing the clutch? I'm a noob. Also need recommendations for a clutch. Is an OEM clutch from O'Reilly or Autozone fine, or should I get something else? Car has roughly 500hp.
You could go with an ls7 clutch, it'll hold 500hp if you're just doing street driving.
Do your slave cylinder and add a remote bleeder.
Rear main seal is a good idea as well.
if you have the time/budget, take apart the torque tube and inspect it, make sure the couplers are still in one piece.
I highly recommend the LUK version of the LS7 Clutch. I was always skeptical of the pedal feel so I never tried one but my son just put that clutch in is 4th gen Camaro SS and I have to say we are thoroughly impressed!
You should also replace the hydro throwout bearing with a factory GM unit.
Other things to consider.
Rear Main Seal
Torque Tube rebuild
This is one of those jobs that can snowball. It can be as minimal or complicated and costly as you want to make it.

I just did the LUK in mine, pedal feels a bit numb, but im used to the tick master in my camaro versus the stock corvette so it could be that. I also dont have much drive time in it yet.
Wanted to throw out there that your videos were super helpful doing my clutch job, and glad to see another PNWer modding their car!
For the labor involved, now is the time to do it all and do it right.
I tend to suggest the McLeod RST because it works up to 800hp but feels lighter than factory.
I prefer lightweight flywheels as I drive the heck out of my cars in the hills. I only recommend normal weight flywheels for those who drag race only. Full weight feels like a truck vs a sports car.
New slave cylinder
Torque tube couplers
Bearing
Optional:
Katech remote bleeder (tick also works, but uses a crush washer vs a factory fitment adapter)
Edelbrock 641370 mounts the drain end cleanly to the bolt on your brake master cylinder.
C&S corvette rear plate / rear main seal. A fresh seal which also eliminates several factory weaknesses.
Torque tube bearings
Tick adjustable master cylinder
And now's the time if you're geeky to consider a TMOD linkage mod.
I've heard the Tick master cylinder isn't worth the price, just stick with OEM. Anyone have an opinion on this?
I found benefit in adjusting the release point to be exact. Necessary, no. But between master, clutch and flywheel I had a proper sports car and not a truck shifting experience like most C5s still have.
