Curious. Just had the windshield replaced on my base 2004 convertible w/heads-up option. I noticed a connection at the top behind the rearview mirror that I never realized was there. Looks like a flat, male blade type connector you'd expect to see for an antenna hook up or for a defrost. What is that supposed to connect to or did the body shop install the wrong windshield. Heads-up display works.
Yeah, you're right a picture is worth a 1000 words. Did convertibles come with 2 connections for the antenna? I always figured the one in the back was the only one. Here's what it looks like.
