Starting this thread to talk about the rebuild of a 2002 Z06 i'd start in a couple weeks. I will surely need some advices and informations as it will be a huge project.
I have a complete 2003 Z06 without title and a LS1 under the hood. Beside it, i have a running 04 LS6 and i'll receive a 02 Z06 roller next month.
The idea is to dismantle the 03 and set all the parts on the 02 that has a clean title.
Any advice on parts to replace when the power train will be out of the car ?
I'm doing the spark plugs, rear main seal plate, belts and pulley and the crankshaft damper. Shall i replace other parts such as timing chain, seals... ?
The engine has 5200 miles on it.
Any advice about how to do things or any other are welcome.
