Default Intake manifold from GTO

I am getting my parts list together for an HCI build on my Z06. My buddy has an intake manifold off of his 6.0 GTO. He says it would fit on my ls6. I am wanting to go to an ls2 silver blade throttlebody. Can anyone confirm that it will fit. I am keeping my 243 heads but getting them ported.

The LS2 GTO has the same intake as a C6 LS2 Corvette. A factory LS6 intake will make more power. The LS6 intake came on all 2001-04 Corvettes.

A Dorman LS2 intake will make more power but takes some mods to fit on a C5. Google will turn up Corvetteforum topics. The other option is a FAST 92mm intake.

Please be aware of the fact that the factory LS2 intake manifold is NOT superior to the LS6 manifold in terms of design, manufacturing technique or flow. A better and less expensive option with ported 243 heads is the TPIS modified LS6 intake with the 90mm snout, that allows for the use of the 90mm throttle body or as noted above the Doorman LS2 intake manifold, then of course the FAST intake manifolds for 90mm throttle bodies. It all depending on your buget and on what level of head porting, camshaft selection, headers and your plans/goals. Also remember that the factory LS6 intake with the 78mm throttle body has been repeatedly shown to support +400 rwhp in a 5.7L and over +420 in a stroker 6.3L.

I would love to find an ls6 manifold with tge snout replaced. But I don't think anyone does that anymore. I looked at TPIS website and don't see it. If anyone know where to get that done please let me know.

I would not send them anything if that is the level of communication before the work has started.
