Default Differential counter weight

I know there is a post or maybe two on this subject that are pretty old. Just looking to see if anybody still removes these weights and noticed any vibrations and such. Anybody??
I know its just under 5 pounds and not a big deal to keep it, but I like going lighter where I can, like trashing the secondary air pump and its plumbing. Just looking for some feedback here...Thanks.....Oh, my car is an auto

Hundreds of hours of cg analysis and NVH testing were no match for you.

I know right.......It was mentioned that the weight was for a 900rpm vibration.....I am NEVER sitting at 900 rpms long enough to feel anything. Who knows, maybe hanging a 4.6 pound weight off the driver diff case was a possible side affect for the early driver side diff leaks.....God only knows...But thanks for your feedback

Finally somebody with an actual question and not being a smart _ _ _. The things that changed with my car as far as drive line is the Powerbond harmonic balancer( 2 pounds heavier than the OEM one), added 12mm couples to replace the 10mm ones, fully built auto trans. Also, have headers, full exhaust and a SC. I am a fan of removing non-essential weight and a lot of racers do remove this weight. I had to try it out and it will remain off the car....

You have to remove it with a lot of the wider rear diff mounts. Of course if you're doing that NVH already isn't a priority.
