Default Upper Oil Pan Gasket Weeping

I just replaced my lower oil pan gasket and noticed a bit of weeping (not dripping) from the upper as well. R&R the upper gasket is a much bigger project, and beyond what I can personally tackle in my garage. My question is, how long can I run it like this? This is mostly an HPDE/Track Day car and not a daily.

If it was a daily driver, I would say it could potentially go indefinitely provided you monitor. As a track only car that is being pushed to the limit frequently, I would resolve before the next event.

Are you against using an oil additive for trying to stop your oil leak issue? Although not in my C5, I had a similar oil leak issue in my DD Murano that would have cost many $$ to fix. Doing some research, I found the product TITAN Oil Stop-Leak. I added it to new oil and it has not leaked since adding it 3 years ago.

I'm not familiar with them. I guess I'd have to research more.

I have NEVER had any luck with any type of oil stop leak...Maybe its just my luck, but I would narrow down exactly where the leak is to see how severe it is. Does not sound too severe. 3M, i believe, sells a product that is a clear spray that gets applied on the outside of a hose, valve cover, i.e. Its meant for a leak that is small, perhaps weeping, that is not a lot of PSI. I noticed a slight covering of oil build up on my oil pan and was planning to try it. Its easy enough to give it a shot. I think it was like 20 bucks or so......I did try it on my high mileage santa fe which was leaking oil out of everywhere. I did apply this spray and it helped. I am only leaking now from the locations too hard to isolate.

I'd really just like to get through this season as I plan on some upgrades/durability mods in the fall/winter. I could address it properly then.
