C5 shifter slop

Does anyone know how to reduce the slop of a c5 MN6 shifter? I was thinking of either rebuilding the c5 shift box or putting in a c6 shift box.

Search around for a Tmod box. Made a difference in mine.

I put an MGW shifter in mine. Never replaced the lower box. Did the Antivenom mod. Never looked back. Still miss that shifter. My C7 shifts fine, but still not as precise as the MGW.
