hard 1-2 shift automatic
got the car on 9/20. 46k original. did not like the soft shift. installed the B&M shift plus and set it on single dot which is firm shift. everything good till Sunday when I thought it was a little to firm and turned the shift plus off. 1-2 shift was still too firm for me. seems like it did not change when I deactivated the shift plus. I check the DIC and did not see any codes. this is the first time checking the DIC so I may have not done it right to check any trans codes. I'll take it out this week to see if it still shifts too firm. other shifts are fine, just too harsh of 1-2. any thoughts? thanks

Not sure what that shift kit is. I’ve heard of the trans go shift kits. I’ve never used a shift kit in the 4L60e. Had a shift kit in a TH350, did not use the competition shift springs in the valve body, used a street setting for harder then stock shifts and the tires used to chirp from 1-2, rarely but had it happen from 2-3, not sure what the harder shifts do to the 4L60E, but yes, shifts are not necessarily hard, but it’s supposed to shift fast.
