Forum members- new member here and happy to join. Problem with dash display as follows- after charging the battery( I thought- did not take a charge and a constant thumping sound emerged. I am receiving the following constant messages.. Service ABS, Service traction control system, and Service active handling. This is a 99 Corvette w/ 25k miles with no prior issues. I have not replaced the battery yet but I do use a jump box to start the car and it runs and drives as it should. The three messages are constant. Checked all fuses and relays. Have had several mechanic friends take a look to no avail. Tried to remove codes with a scanner to no avail. I was told by one mechanics it could be a wheel sensor as the ABS would trip the other two messages. Your help and I suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you, John.
Generally speaking, if it's not any fuses and there are a bunch of sudden codes this could point to an issue with a ground wire. I'd suggest checking the ground locations (Google search should help you out).
For example, I ended up with a bunch of codes suddenly. Turned out that a ground wire under the battery location broke off from its ring terminal. Redid that and problem solved.
