Default Front suspension problem

Ok so I lowered the front cradle to get the oil pan off and now I cannot get the control arms back up because the leaf spring will not flex enough? Am I missing something here? It lowered fine but now I don’t know how the hell im going to get the suspension connected back up. Thanks.

You are going to have to compress the leaf spring somehow. Search for Kent-Moore leaf spring compressor tool.

I’m saying f it and switching to coil overs. I didn’t want to deal with this in the front and again in the rear when I drop that so coil overs seem to be a better upgrade anyways. Went with Vikings.

Wow, that's a bit extreme.

I was able to compress mine enough by simply putting a floor jack under the lower ball joint.

yeah that didn’t work, would literally lift the car off the lift. Tried lowering it down as well nothing. It could possibly be due to the car having everything out of the front for the head/cam swap so it is quite light.

I think you should set up a camera to stream your adventures in the garage.
