Default ABS/traction control fault

The other day the death lights came on for ABS/TC. The DIC code says it's the front left.
I metered the wires from the connector on the frame rail to the wheel speed sensor and they look to be intact. I metered the sensor and it appears to be with in spec. I even tried a spare wheel bearing/sensor connected directly to the frame rail mounted connection to eliminate as many variables as possible. No luck.
Has anyone experienced this before? I'm hoping for some directions as to where to go from here. electrical!

Thanks all!

One of the 2 wires on the speed sensor has a 5 volt bias on it which can help in diagnosing that wire…with key on see if you see 5 volts…if not you have an open in that wire between the speed sensor connector and the EBCM…if you see 5 volts you should do a “wiggle test” between the connector and the EBCM…shake the wire down between those 2 points and see if the 5 volts drop out…pay attention to the short harness between the sensor and frame rail…to check the other wire you can use an ohmeter and with the EBCM connector removed see if you have continuity between the connector and the speed sensor…you can do the wiggle test and see if you go from continuity to an open circuit.

Thank you good Sir!
