Do any of you guys have or have had this on your C5? Looking for some feedback if you noticed any decent gains from running one. They are on sale right now on MSD's website around $140 off.
I ran one years ago on my c5z, it made about 10 more hp peak over my ported fast 102 but where it shines is upper rpms, around 6500 the fast drops off where the msd kept pulling so where I shifted at it was making about 30-40hp over the fast

Do you have the supporting mods to make it worthwhile? Cam heads headers?
you didn’t list what’s done to the car so I’m going to assume it’s basically stock.
If that’s the case LS6 intake isn’t holding you back
Out of all the NA bolt on parts that you can do that would actually be my last modification.
The right Cam plus Headers and a tune will get you to 400 whp
Ported heads and the intake will get you another 50 to the wheels. If you’re not willing to go into the motor to do a cam, then headers with a good air intake like a Callaway Honker or Breathless Performance with a tune is aa good as it gets.

What cam were you running how many RPMs were you turning it. I set my redline at 6700 but 6500 is the stock
I’m running a fast 92 that is not ported and make 453 to the rear wheels. At 6700 rpm’s I’m not dropping off. That’s with a BTR stage 3 ported heads etc
