Re: Mods have been choosen....Cant wait!!!! (hogurt)
You're not too anxious about the mods are you? Congrats! I'd say you'll be running deep into the 12's with drag radials. You're 60' times should greatly improve with the gears, torque converter and DR's.
Re: Mods have been choosen....Cant wait!!!! (USMUSCL)
Sounds like a plan! :yesnod: But you forgot one mod..TRANSGO shift kit..without it the new 10.5 inch PT 2400 T/C will create a delay between the soft shifts..The programming will help..but no where as clean and quick as the Transgo..You heard from me first..Trust me I've been there.. :yesnod: While you have the transmission apart ..it's a no brainer ;)
FWIW..The stock converter is 12 inches..the PT2400 is 10.5..the stock stall is 1200-1400..the PT2400 is 2200-2400...more fluid in that transmission and the PCM program will only let you build the line pressure to a max of 89 lbs. Do the Transgo..you will be glad you did.. PROMISE!
Re: Mods have been choosen....Cant wait!!!! (USMUSCL)
Congrats on the mods Usmuscl,
How did you like F-body Centrals Shop/Service??
I just had my gears done at ECS  So now I'm planning heads/Cam as my next performance mod. But as you know the "recommended" shop here in Maryland's prices are a tad bit.........Off the Norm. compared to the forum tuners rates. Do they have much experience with the traditional Vette Mods?.
would you go to them again? or recommend them?
 on the latest set of Mods.
