Default Long shot: Trying to identify this

This may be a long shot, but wondering if anyone could possibly identify this nut so I can search further. I'm going to get the car up on a lift soon to inspect it, but I can't see anything missing from what I can see while it's on the ground. The nut spins freely from the inner piece. It randomly came off the car when I was about to pull in my driveway.

Images in spoiler due to size.

Can you measure flat-to-flat on the hex? That will help us substantially.

In any case, I think it kinda looks like this guy, which is a nut for securing the front and rear cradles to the frame. There are 4 front and 4 rear.

3/4"
It does look like the one in the link. I recently had the harmonic balancer and oil pan seal replaced 😬

3/4" is about 19mm. The cradle securing nuts I believe are 21mm (a tad bigger than 13/16") flat-to-flat.

Possibly exhaust hanger nuts which attach the rubber isolator to the rear bumper cross bar.

The rubber shifter boot which is covered up by the console and console use nuts like that.

I'd check around the abs module on the drvers front on 99-04 cars in front of the power steering pump, the bracket changes so I'm not sure. It is in the rear on the 97-98 cars.

It would be a good idea to retorque control arms and cradle nuts.

Found the culprit. One side loose and one fell off. I’m speechless. Would these have been removed for the harmonic balancer replacement?

wow. Yes they may have lowered the cradle to get the steering rack out to get the balancer on and off. It can be done without lowering the subframe.

I'd retorque the entire suspension and steering rack. You can find spec sheets searching the forum with google. A misprint floats around for the rear lower shock bolt with some crazy high 200 ft lbs value. With the car in the air, it doesn't take that long to torque the subframe, rack, all 8 a arms, engine mounts

FYI air tools are not recommended on the cradle nuts. However, yes many have used air on them without issue but there are also posts of the captured studs breaking free. I take my time with hand tools and thry to properly torque everything to avoid future headaches.

The OP indicated the oil pan gasket was replaced as well, which is why they would have dropped the cradle.
