Well had the vette out today and on the way home I hit a big rock with my front RIGHT tire. It rolled around underneath, didn't do any wheel or tire damage, but now both windows don't work. They did earlier because I was using them.
The drivers side is stuck in the down position. Both door locks work, as do everything else electrical. (lights,seat,etc.).
I check the fuses for the door control module, #31, 34, and a few others, I pushed on all fuses still nothing. Any ideas?

Sorry, here is wiring for a ‘99 not 98…it should work…do you have experience with a DVOM and a test light and know how to read a wiring diagram ??…if so start up at the top on work your way down !!
IPC U1160, A0 LDCM--No Comm and A1 RDCM -- NO Comm .
I pulled the right door skin off, no voltage on orange wire at switch connector.
I check the right door harness inside rubber boot, but can't locate the 2 plugs that are in there.
Update on windows. I took the right door panel off, before I had the wiring diagrams because I thought after hitting the big rock, maybe something came loose.
I might have been distracted and lost focus because the windows and hitting the rock happened within an hour of each other. So I followed some suggestions here, and thanks for the wiring diagrams, they explained a lot.
I checked all the fuses they were good, and I tried checking the connector inside the bellows of the left door but couldn't find it. I pulled it, felt it, etc, just couldn't locate it. I wrapped up the car with a cover for the down window and then put my old car cover on it.
We went aways for about 2 weeks and today I was going to pull the left door skin off, and start checking voltages. I put the right door back together and tried the windows. They WORKED!. I think it was trying to check the connector in the door bellows that might have fixed it, or it just needed a rest like my body parts. Either way, I'd thought I'd let you all know.
Thanks. John
Ok here we go again, wife and I took Vette out 2 weeks ago stopped for lunch then after that windows didn't work. Have a loose wire somewhere. I checked the door hinge area, no connector in there. I pulled the left door skin off and will check voltages in there later this week. Frustrating as hell.

Not surprising considering you did drill down to root cause and fix the issue. Guaranteed to happen again !
Here's an update guys. After trying to get to the connector between the doors(very hard), I was just about to remove the door. I took it for a spin today and when I got back I decided to check connectors under passenger footwear. I started to push on each one, the windows started to work. So it looks like I had a loose connection in the second connector up from the left. It works fine now. Eventually I'll pull it and check the pins. At least I now know what the problem was. Thanks for all the ideas.
