Remove the B+ wire from the starter. Clean, really clean the wire terminal with some emory cloth till the copper shines. Also, clean the starter terminal stud and surrounding area. This connection builds up high resistance, probably due to the heat. Anyway, your alternator feed(B+) goes through this terminal before it reaches the battery. So, you get reduced charging voltage and high resistance when you crank. Common problem. On mine, I also ran a separate #6 guage wire from the alt B+ directly to the pos batt terminal along with a 250 amp fuse link (available at Advance) Hope this helps
