Harmonic Balancer Wobble
Hey guys.
Im in the process of purchasing a 2001 TTop and wanted to get your thoughts on how bad the wobble is, or if it’s even the harmonic balancer that is the issue. The owner has sent me this video. There aren’t any squeaks but it definitely looks like a wobble to me. The problem is, he lives 14 hours away and i’m a little worried if it breaks down on the way back.
on a side note, how does the engine sound? He said the ticking goes away when it’s warm

By my untrained eye, I do not see a wobble although I do hear a 'tick' that my 04 has when cold in the Winter. You may want to ask the local Vette club for a recommended Vette shop to do an inspection at your cost. If the owner refuses, move. on.
