Ticking/tapping noise under or behind console...HELP!
Mine has a light metalic tapping noise that sounds like it is either under my seat or under the center console. It really sounds like it is coming from directly under the "waterfall" on the console. It is only apparent at certain temperatures. I think I have eliminated everything inside the car at this point. I know there are a number of tin cable lines that carry brake fluid, trans fluid etc. that run front to back in these cars, has anyone ever experienced them knocking together or on the transmission or something? This noise drives me nuts!

Check the lid for the cup holder. Check the lid for the center console. Check the panel that surrounds the inside air temperature sensor.
