Default ACDelco Iridium Spark Plug 41-162

Anyone purchase these plugs this year? If so, could you please describe all markings on them.

I ask because I've purchased a set from the local parts store and paid without inspecting them. Before I left the store I looked at all of them and they either looked slightly used or pure fake.

The white part around the electrode had a slight brown spot on all plugs
No part # laser etched
No lettering on the terminal
All plugs had a faint white frost around the part # where the boot would slip over

I never used AcDelco iridium plugs for this car so I don't have anything to reference. Thanks.

Thanks. I've watched that video and the exterior design must of change as the current AcDelco does no look as described in the video.

This is what I found in the store which is almost identical

If you question that they may be counterfeit just buy them from your local Chevy dealer…these days I use NAPA exclusively when buying parts for my car or others that I may be working on.

The NAPA of today is not the NAPA from years ago. They are also selling sub-standard chinese parts like the rest of the lesser parts suppliers.

Perhaps you should take a closer look. Here is one example, their so-called NAPA gold filters are no longer made by WIX and are a chinesium product.

I have never used WIX or NAPA filters so I can’t comment on that but thanks for that information.

I only use Wix on my car.

I’ve installed these exact same plugs with a/c Delco red wires last winter I buy them from RockAuto and I can guarantee they were original Delco products

I don't have a tik-tok. NAPA lost my business years ago when they started selling chinese brake rotors. There is no point in paying NAPA's premium if they are selling the same crap everyone else does.
