I don't want to ask the question that has probably been asked 300x about how to repair it.
Can anybody direct me to a place here that may have the info I need?
If your cruise control isn’t working are you asking for a shop to bring it to ??…your post is rather nebulous.
Not trying to be nebulous, sorry. I was trying not to be bothersome and ask for people here trying to instruct
me on how to fix it.
I was asking if there is a place on the forum for some instruction may be found. Simple easy to understand, or if it gets too complicated
find a shop. I think there are probably many different things that can cause it because I'm not a mechanical guy.
No bother but we didn’t know if you were asking how to fix your cruise control or finding a shop to fix it…you won’t find any instruction on here how to fix it but if you’re not mechanically inclined it may be a little over your head as there are quite a few inputs that allow the cruise to work and you will have to be knowledgeable with electrical diagnostics…I’d find an auto electric shop in your area as they know electrical systems…it’s probably not a simple fix…you could check fuse 20 in the IP fuseblock.

I think I checked the fuse a couple of years ago. It was no big deal, never made any long drives to need it. Now my wife and I may do a few hundred mile road trip and I know I will need it. Thanks for the advice.
I forgot about a friend that owns a shop that can fix it. It's mainly a Firestone dealer, but they do
other work as well. I just remembered that yesterday. He has done work on 2 of my cars. It's not the fuse.
There are several things that can cause it and he is aware of them.
