What type of bulb did you replace with, led or incandesent?

The first bulb I replaced was LED in the front, that was in the socket. It rear were standard bulbs.
The turn signal’s had been working fine and the right side is functioning as it should so I assumed there had to be a bulb issue with the left.

Clean the socket terminals? Bulb engaged all the way into socket?

(Sorry, not trying to sound "simple", but dirty terminals was the problem with mine even though bulbs were new...then I noticed the bulbs need to be engaged with a small "click" sound)

Thanks. I will double check the sockets. Obviously I believe I have inserted the new bulbs correctly but there is the possibility I did not. I would not have thought of that as a possible reason.

Does the new led bulb light? The new bulb might not provide enough resistance so the flasher circuit reads this as a burned out bulb and increases the flash rate. If the new bulb lights try changing from it to an incandesent type.

Certainly worth trying. The bulb that I replaced was LED so I replaced it with a LED. I have owned the car for 7 years and the problem occurred just recently.
I would think a bad flasher would affect both right and left turn signals.

I am stumped. The turn signals worked fine ever since I have owned the car and then the left started blinking rapidly.
The front had an LED bulb so I replaced it with the same, the back had the standard bulbs which I replaced. The problem continued, it was suggested that I replace the front LED with a standard bulb. The was dubious but it did it and that turn signals work as designed.
I don’t know why the LED functioned for all these years then suddenly failed.

It could be ageing of the hazard switch and or the led.

Do you see a resistor wired near the socket?
If so, it could have gone bad.
