My wipers will randomly not turn off. I was told there is some sort of reservoir or tank that gets water in it under the wiper blades and it makes them go crazy. I had to disconnect the fuse last week to get them to stop. After parked under carport for a day all worked fine.
There are "udders" that are under the wiper motor When they get clogged with dirt the wiper motor gets submerged. You need to clean the udders and remove the motor. The motor might be repairable by drying it out or just replace it.

Yep, happened to mine shortly after I got it. Took out the motor to dry it out, reassembled it, all was fine. I also modified the udders to try and make it less likely to happen again. So far, so good!
Mine was acting crazy too. There are about 3 udders below where the wiper motor sits. After cleaning out all of the udders and letting the car dry out for several days the wipers worked fine. Did not have to remove the motor just got the water out.
Clean? F-that!! I tried cutting the ends off after first motor failure…..still flooded my next motor. Finally just ripped those stupid *** things out from the drivers side. 🤬 All is well now in the heaviest rains.
